Australia will contest the second Ashes Test match against England without
wicketkeeper Brad Haddin for personal reasons.
England have taken a 1-0 lead over Australia in the Ashes but Haddin will not
be part of the team that plays in the second test at Lord’s.
Thirty-seven-year-old Haddin missed training on Tuesday and his absence could
mean that Peter Nevill might win make his Test debut.
Fast bowler Mitchell Starc needed pain-killing injections on an ankle injury
during last week’s first Test in Cardiff but he is expected to be fit to play.
The second Ashes Test starts on Thursday.
